The Agilent 8757D scalar network analyzer allows you to measure insertion loss, gain, return loss, SWR, and power quickly and accurately . With high-performance detectors and directional bridges, and a companion Agilent source and printer, this analyzer becomes the basis of a complete measurement system with superb performance.
Setup time is reduced by external disk save/recall, and measurement data can be sent directly to a printer while you proceed to the next measurement.
You can configure your system using an Agilent PSG signal generator with ramp sweep capability. The dynamic range can be extended from 75 dB to 83 dB using the PSG's high power option.

The HP 8753E RF vector network analyzer provides all the performance and productivity features to simplify and speed your component measurements in the 30 kHz to 6 GHz frequency range. Its new processor makes measurement and data-transfer speeds up to seven times faster than the previous model. Overall throughput is enhanced by new features such as simultaneous four parameter display* and adapter-removal calibration. An integrated, synthesized source provides up to 10 mW of output power (100 mW for Option 011), 1 Hz frequency resolution, and linear-frequency, log-frequency, listfrequency, CW, and power sweep types. Three tuned receivers allow independent power measurements or simultaneous ratio measurements over a wide dynamic range of 105 dB at 6 GHz (with Option 006 frequency extension) or 110 dB at 3 GHz (standard). The integrated test set allows you to measure transmission and reflection characteristics of a device to 6 GHz, without a frequency doubler. The HP 8753E network analyzer features two independent measurement channels. You can choose to display any combination of reflection and transmission parameters, in magnitude, phase, group-delay, Smith-chart, polar, SWR, or time-domain formats. Softkeys let you quickly access measurement functions, and you can view results in overlay or split-screen format on the LCD color display. A VGA-compatible output has been added to drive larger external monitors for optimum viewing.

The Agilent 8712ET features a built-in transmission/reflection test set with a full range of magnitude and phase measurements. Two independent channels can measure and display two device parameters, such as transmission and reflection response, in a variety of formats including complex impedance, SWR, and delay, on rectangular, polar or Smith-chart displays. These analyzers also employ vector-error-correction techniques to enhance measurement accuracy.
For a wider range of output power levels to test active devices and components, Option 1E1 adds a 60-dB step attenuator as a standard feature, which extends the lowest power-level setting to -60 dBm. Both 50-ohm and 75-ohm versions are available.

The Agilent 8714ET features a built-in transmission/reflection test set with a full range of magnitude and phase measurements. Two independent channels can measure and display two device parameters, such as transmission and reflection response, in a variety of formats including complex impedance, SWR, and delay, on rectangular, polar or Smith-chart displays. These analyzers also employ advanced vector-error-correction techniques to enhance measurement accuracy.
For a wider range of output power levels to test active devices and components, Option 1E1 adds a 60-dB step attenuator as a standard feature, which extends the lowest power-level setting to -60 dBm. Both 50-ohm and 75-ohm versions are available.

The Lightning 37200C/37300C Vector Network Analyzers (VNAs) are high performance tools designed to make fast and accurate Sparameter measurements of active and passive devices across the 22.5 MHz to 65 GHz range. These network analyzers integrate a synthesized source, S-parameter test set and tuned receiver into a single compact package that is ideal for bench-top testing. The Lightning 37100C VNAs are configured as Direct-Access Receivers for antenna, frequency conversion, and multiple output device measurements. These network analyzers consist of a synthesized source and tuned receiver in a single compact unit, with direct access provided to all four receiver samplers via the front panel. The 56100A Scalar Network Analyzer measures insertion loss, insertion gain, or RF power with 76 dB dynamic range. Measure device match as return loss in dB or as SWR. Separate detectors can be used on all four inputs for multiple transmission measurements on duplexers or matched amplifiers.
Transmission and reflection measurements can be viewed simultaneously. Both traces can be scaled independently in dB, dBm, or SWR. Measurement of the ratio of two detector inputs may be applied to either channel for enhancing accuracy or for viewing differences. Built in calibration allows subtraction of the unwanted transmission frequency response or the average of open/short reflections from either trace. A Volt Mode is available for displaying voltage (with volt mode adapter cable). A 0 to 10 volt sweep ramp output mode is also available.

The 4195A Network/Spectrum analyzer provides excellent vector network and spectrum measurement performance from 10 Hz to 500 MHz. Providing both vector network and spectrum measurement capabilities, the 4195A is a cost effective solution for the development and production testing of analog devices. For improved performance and simple operation, many new and powerful features have been included, thus making the 4195A an ideal tool for the analog design engineer.
In addition to measuring a complete set of network and spectrum parameters, the 4195A can automatically derive impedance parameters from S-parameters. Direct impedance measurements from 100 kHz to 500 MHz can be performed using the optional 41951A Impedance test kit.
